Zoology for Dummies

If you want to know about zoology you came to the right blog. Today I will tell you what zoology is in the best of my knowledge, and the steps to become a zoologist. Zoology is the study of animals in their zoo habitat. How to become a zoologist: First you need to go to college to get a masters in zoology, plus you need to take side classes like genetics and or the study of animals in their habitat. Next when you’re in college you are going to want to go and work as an intern in a zoo just so you can get the hang of things around being with the animals. After that you are going to want to find the specific job that you can work at for the rest of your life (until you retire of course). In the end if you plan on becoming a zoologist you as a reader you should do some of your own research on zoology/zoologist. That way you know for yourself what you need to do.

  1. Dear Dan,
i enjoyed your message, zoology for junkies because i like animals and zoology is and interesting topic to me. one sentence that stands out to me is "just so you can get the hang of things around being with the animals." because it is good advice and sounds like a nice thing to do. another sentence that i liked was "you are going to want to find the specific job that you can work at for the rest of your life" this stood out to me because it showed that zoology is a life career and not just a side job. I agree with you that zoology is an important career choice. one reason i say that is that as long as it is possible to make money on animals in zoos, than zoos will always be around and i believe that it is important to try and understand the animals, so we can make them as happy as possible in a zoo environment. Thanxs for writing, i look forward to seeing what you write next, because zoology interests me.

  2. Dear Dan,
I love your message “Zoology for Dummies,” because I love animals. I am a really huge animal fan I am glad that you chose to write about what you did. One sentence that you wrote that really stood out to me was ”Last but not least I believe I have given you the shot summary of what you need to do to become a zoologist by the way you need to know that this is what you want to do in life.” I really strongly believe that you need to know what you are going to do in life before you actually start doing something. I love your concerns and all the love that you have towards animals. I am really looking forward to seeing what else you have to say about animals and what you interests are. I will be waiting to read what you have next.

  3. Dear Dan,
I really enjoyed your blog post titled, “Zoology for Dummies.” The title does a really good job of getting people’s attention. It helps letting people know that you’ll be writing about the basics of Zoology without going really in depth. I also really liked when you said, “Zoology is the study of animals in their zoo habitat,” because you defined zoology in terms that everyone can understand. You didn’t use a large scientific definition and started at a good pace for diving into the topic. The plan that you gave for becoming was also very simple and easy to follow. I know that it won’t be that easy, but you did a good job of telling the basic idea without specifics. Your last quote, “So thank you and have a good rest of the day,” was really cool because you thanked people for reading your blog. It was very polite and made me want to come back. Overall I really liked this post and I can’t wait to learn more about Zoology! Good job!
